Imam AhmedulHadi Sharif

Imam AhmedulHadi Sharif is an accomplished imam with extensive experience in Islamic Education and the Arabic Language Education for both children and adults. He holds a Master’s Degree in Tafsir and Ulum Al-Quran from a prestigious educational institution in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Ahmed is certified with two different Ijazahs in Islamic Sciences and Daw’ah, granting him permission for Islamic Creed, practice Qur’anic exegesis (tafsir), Islamic jurisprudence, Hadith, Arabic, and Qur’anic elocution (tajwid) from different scholars. He is also a Hafidh of the entire Qur’an and a certified cantor (Qari’) with the ability to read at least 2 different Qira’at.

In terms of experience, Ahmed is serving as the Imam and Director of Education at the Islamic Center of Williamson County in Franklin, Tennessee, and  served previously the same role for 9 years at the Islamic Center of Tennessee in Antioch. In these roles, he acted as a spiritual leader, community educator, and public relations representative. Ahmed led daily prayers, delivered Jumu’ah sermons, managed and organized Taraweeh Prayers in Ramadan, performed funeral services, and conducted matrimonial services. He offered Islamic family and youth counseling and guidance, while also providing Quran and Hadith studies, Seerah and Fiqh lessons, and other Islamic classes to community members. Ahmed developed educational programs for new Muslims, participated in community activities to promote interfaith and public relations, and delivered voluntary sermons and lectures at local Islamic centers and conventions.

Prior to his role in Tennessee, Ahmed worked as an Arabic and Islamic Studies Instructor at AL Furqan Islamic School in Mombasa, Kenya. He developed syllabi, planned and guided units of study, and taught Islamic Studies to both teenagers and adults. Ahmed also worked as a Volunteer Imam, Khatib, and Instructor at Masjid Al-Iman in Mogadishu, Somalia. He led daily prayers, taught Islamic Studies, delivered Friday sermons, organized youth sport activities, instructed Classical Arabic, and managed media, press, and public relation issues.

Imam’s educational background includes a Master’s in Tafsir and Ulum Al-Quran, a Izajah of Dawah, a Bachelor’s in Education with a focus on Math and Physics, and Izajahs of Islamic Studies and Da’wah. He has also completed diploma programs in Arabic and English language proficiency. Additionally, Ahmed has memorized the entire Quran with Tajweed and obtained the highest Ijaza in the Narration of Hafs From Amir with a chain linked down to the Prophet Muhammad.

In terms of special experience, Ahmed possesses scholastic knowledge, team building, and leadership skills, as well as 10+ years of teaching experience in Islamic Studies. He is also trained in various areas such as computer software, Da’wah workshop, places of worship safety, FBI anti-terrorism training, media relationship, social media development, video and graphic design, and family counseling.

Ahmed’s highlights include being multilingual in Arabic, Somali, Kiswahili, and English, as well as having cultural dualism. He is confident, polite, friendly, and skilled at public and motivational speaking. Ahmed has a passion for teaching, tutoring, and counseling.
